What is Breast Thermography?
Thermography is a safe screening technique that images thermovascular heat signatures on the surface of the breasts, without the use of compression or radiation.
Thermography produces a Thermal Map of the vascular patterns and heat signatures in the breasts which are monitored for stability and changes during a women’s lifetime.
Changes caused by physiological abnormalities such as inflammation or increased blood flow determine a women’s risk of developing breast cancer or of currently having breast cancer. Clinical Thermography is an effective assessment option for women who are too young to have mammograms and for those who decline mammography.
This empowers a woman with more information about her breast health. When a woman is alerted to physiological abnormalities it gives her an opportunity to make changes. Healthy lifestyle choices (diet, natural hormonal balance, exercise, stress management, etc) are crucial in our efforts to prevent disease.
By practicing preventive health, you take action, to improve your chances of good health and better the odds of stopping disease before it starts. Partnering with a progressive doctor is an important part of this effort.
Thermography can alert you and your doctor to changes at the earliest stages allowing for an opportunity to determine the best way forward.
Clinical Thermography gives women of all ages the opportunity to screen for breast abnormalities at an early stage. This is especially useful for women in a ‘high risk’ group and for women with a history of breast cancer in their family.

OUR missionTo empower women with important information that will motivate them to make healthy lifestyle choices in the hope of preventing disease or to alert them to the development of disease. |
What You See
Don’t wait for symptoms to appear before you start paying attention to your breast health.
|
What We See
Thermography identifies a female population which is at higher risk of breast disease than the population at large.
It is a screening procedure that monitors the physiology and the vascular structures in the breasts. Physiological changes manifest long before physical symptoms appear and are an early indication of disease. This information provides a widow of opportunity to transform your life before the onset of disease. |
Thermography and Mammography – They are ‘Not’ competitors
Thermography is a harmless, non-contact screening that collects data from the heat the body radiates, allowing an opportunity to monitor physiological changes that will alert us to inflammation, potential disease development, tumour growth, and other conditions.
Mammography is screening for disease that already exists. Mammography utilizes ionizing radiation, and compression to detect masses.
